IRIS Cookie NoticeEffective Date: May 2, 2026 | Last Updated: June 1, 2026

This Cookie Notice explains how SyloxIT Services Private Limited ("Sylox," "we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on the IRIS website at www.syloxiris.com (the "Website"). It supplements our Privacy Policy and uses the same defined terms.

1. What This Notice Covers

This Notice covers:

  • what cookies and similar technologies are;
  • which cookies we set and which third parties set on the Website;
  • the purposes they serve;
  • how long they last; and
  • how you can control them.

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include pixels, web beacons, local storage, and software development kits (SDKs). For simplicity, we refer to all of these as "cookies" in this Notice.

This Notice applies to the Website only. It does not apply to cookies or similar technologies used inside the IRIS product environment by our enterprise customers, which are governed by the customer's Master Services Agreement and Data Processing Agreement with Sylox.

2. Why We Use Cookies

We use cookies for four purposes:

Category
What it does
Strictly necessary
Keeps the Website secure and functional (login sessions, load balancing, fraud prevention). These cookies are always on; the Website will not work properly without them.
Preferences
Remembers your settings, such as language and display theme, so you do not have to set them again on each visit.
Analytics
Helps us understand how visitors find and use the Website, which pages are popular, and where issues occur, so we can improve content and performance.
Marketing
Helps us measure the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns and show relevant content to business audiences across other websites and platforms.

We obtain your consent before setting Preferences, Analytics, and Marketing cookies, where consent is required by law. Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent.

  • Some Analytics and Marketing cookies are read on subsequent visits to extend their effective duration.
  • Local storage entries used by Amplitude are not strictly cookies but serve a similar purpose and are treated as cookies for consent purposes.
4. Third-Party Cookies

Some cookies on the Website are set by third-party providers that help us deliver analytics, marketing, and security services. The third parties identified above act as separate Controllers or independent Controllers for the personal data they collect through their cookies, and their processing is governed by their own privacy notices:

We do not control these third parties' cookie practices. Please review their notices for details on how they process data and what choices they offer.

How we obtain consent. When you first visit the Website, we display a cookie banner that lets you Accept all, Reject all (non-essential), or open Cookie Settings to make granular, per-category choices. Non-essential cookies are not set until you make a choice. Your choices are stored in the iris_consent cookie and remembered for 12 months, after which we ask again.

California residents (CCPA/CPRA). We do not sell personal data, and we do not "share" personal data for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA. The Website honours Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as an opt-out of any future sharing.

6. How to Manage Cookies

You have several ways to control cookies on the Website.

6.1 Cookie preferences on the Website

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time. The Website provides a persistent "Cookie Preferences" link in the footer that reopens the consent panel — this is the primary way to update your choices. The link is also reachable directly at https://syloxiris.com/cookie-preferences where supported by your browser.

Alternatively, you can:

  • clear cookies for www.syloxiris.com in your browser, after which the consent banner will reappear on your next visit; or
  • adjust your browser settings as described in Section 6.2.

Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of cookies set before you withdrew it. Your updated choices take effect immediately for new sessions; cookies already set under your previous choice will be removed or expire as set out in Section 3.

6.2 Browser controls

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Helpful links:

Blocking strictly necessary cookies may break parts of the Website (login, security checks).

6.3 Third-party opt-outs

You can opt out of certain third-party tracking directly with the providers:

Google Analytics opt-out: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
Google Ads settings: https://adssettings.google.com

6.4 Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

The Website does not respond to "Do Not Track" headers, which lack a common standard. We do honour Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where required by applicable law as an opt-out of sharing for targeted advertising.

7. Updates and Contact

Updates

We may update this Cookie Notice as we add, remove, or change cookies on the Website, or as the law requires. Material changes will be communicated through the cookie banner or the Website. The "Last Updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
